Carlsbad

Coach Clark Allard has built a program over the last several years which has become a staple in national level events and a power in San Diego. This year's new look Lancers will rely on now-senior returners Briggs Young and Trenton Mehl to carry the offensive load. The Lancers have played for CIF Championships three of the past four years.

Olympian

Coach Marty Ellis and the Eagles are coming into the 2025-2026 season with high expectations after back-to-back championships in D3 and then D2. This year the Eagles have their eyes set on the Open Division. Led by dynamic guard Tristan Anderson (offered by Pepperdine), the Eagles' up-tempo offense and aggressive defense always leads to exciting ball games.

Mission Bay

A Holiday Classic Tip Off Night regular, the Buccaneers are led by Coach Marshawn Cherry who always has one of the toughest and most well-conditioned teams in San Diego. The Buccaneers enter 2025 with their eyes set on another Open Division Championship after falling in the semifinals last year.  Point Loma Nazarene commit Clay Grebing can beat teams inside and out leads the Buccaneers' balanced attack. Lucky Davis and Alijah Cheeks will be big contributors in the backcourt for the Buccaneers.

Victory Christian

Coach Will Gray has been building his program up over the last several years to a premier program in San Diego. The Knights are coming off a run to the D1 championship game last year with Open Division aspirations this year. The Knights are led by Jayden Gray who is averaging 17 points per game after three years on varsity. Sophomore guard Troy Tominna will have a tremendous impact on both sides of the floor.

Santa Fe Christian

The Eagles are led by first year head coach and San Diego basketball legend Johnny Dee. Coach Dee has plenty of weapons at his disposal, led by one of the top players in the county in Dax Hall. Hall is flanked by two of the region's top marksmen from behind the arc: Chase Othick and Coen Sponsel. Last season the Eagles won the always challenging Coastal League and earned another Open Division berth.

Cathedral Catholic

The Dons enter 2025 with high expectations coming off their first Open Division semifinal appearance since 2021. One of the region's perennial powers will rely heavily on senior lead guard Max Meza and senior forward Kai Carlson. The Dons also feature one of San Diego's top freshmen: Anthony Ali Nayab. The playmaking guard is poised for a noteworthy freshman year.

Torrey Pines

The host Falcons enter the season with high expectations amidst a mix of returners and newcomers. The defending Coastal League Champs are led by senior Tevaris Green who averaged 15 ppg, 5 rpg, and 2 apg last year. The Falcons also feature two junior newcomers. Jaylan Virgil, an all-state guard in Northern California as a freshman and sophomore, holds offers from Pepperdine and Hampton. 6'6" wing Tyler Humphrey can score from anywhere on the floor. Coach John Olive looks to make it a perfect 13/13 in Open Division appearances.

Francis Parker

The Lancers enter the season as the favorite to win the Open Division, led by top 100 guard Tavid Johnson. California's 6th ranked guard isn't the only bright spot for the Lancers: Three level scorer Ezekiel Walker enters the season off of a huge summer where he picked up Division 1 & 2 offers. The Lancers also return junior Kai Jones who can impact the game in a variety of ways. Coach Mason Biddle and his Lancers are looking to build off of last season's Open Division appearance.
